The ESP/LTD left handed D5 has long been a favorite among bass players looking for the quality and massive tone of a neck-thru-body bass at an accessible price point. Featuring a lightweight Mahogany body with a sumptuous burled poplar top in a black natural satin finish, the lefty D5 from ESP/LTD delivers the aesthetics and feel that today’s bassists are looking for.

Completely updated for 2020, the lefty D5 offers silky smooth playability with its 7-piece maple/jatoba neck with a flat 15.75“ (400mm) fretboard radius and expressive 34“ scale length.

The D Series basses come ready to hit the stage with great-sounding ESP Designed SB-5B and SB-5N passive humbucking pickups and an ABQ-3 3-band active EQ for tone sculpting. They also include Grover tuners and high-quality LTD bridges for excellent tuning stability and rock-solid intonation.
