Vienna Lager is a reddish-amber Austrian beer style that closely resembles the golden-amber Märzen style of Munich, Bavaria. Both the Vienna lager and the Märzen were first brought to market in 1841.

 Our apprentice brewer Isaac first brewed this beer style in our Small Batch Brewery in September.  Our dark amber Vienna Lager was brewed with Vienna malt to bring a biscuity, caramelised flavour to the beer. This beer was a huge hit with drinkers in our Beer Hall and with visitors to our shop with many repeat purchasing and telling their friends how much they enjoyed its ‘Flavoursome, clean and crisp’ taste. In just 10 days we’d sold out of all our stock. The quickest sell-out of one of our small batch beers to date! We knew then, just how much this great beer would be loved in pubs so we’re super excited to tell you that your drinkers are now able to enjoy this too! We’ve scaled Vienna Lager up to our main brewery so that many more drinkers can enjoy our clean and crisp refreshing lager with a light toasted character and wonderful aromas of sweet caramel and toasted malt.

 Expect a smooth, moreish beer with a light toasted character and clean lager finish, one that your drinkers will be ordering again and again.
