A beautiful bud vase handmade by Japanese woodworker Tomoharu Funahashi. This piece has been crafted from walnut and has been shaped in an angular fashion. Tomoharu calls it the Quadrangle Bud Vase for this reason.
To achieve this shape requires skill and time as you can’t use a lathe, they have to be individually cut and crafted by hand. The finish on the walnut is super smooth and has been treated with an oil to protect it. A fantastic work of art that’s been made purely from natural materials and is sure to stand the test of time.
