Description
A fantastic brass serving spoon handmade by Japanese metalworker Ruka Kikuchi (nickname Lue). He makes these by hammering a form from one sheet of brass. This is perfect for serving food or vegetables, thanks to its bigger size and the name that it has, for ‘various’ purposes.
As time progresses you’ll find that this spoon will patina and darken as the metal oxidises, also reacting to the natural oils on ones hands. Each is unique, featuring little scratches up-close where the craftsman has been at work.
